What does this car say about you?

Classy, not a boy racer and very civilised.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think it is very expensive....which is not really the case these days. They love the looks and stance.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, but only if it were either a S4 or RS4.

Another Vauxhall VXR8.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a fairly good deal considering my Alfa Romeo was only worth £3000 book value, and they offered £4000, might be due to their mark up on cars.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

It was extremely desirable, with an affordable price and an executive badge.

What was the dealer like?

Very friendly, not pushy but convincing.

What's it like to drive?

I have the 1.8T, which is fine for when you have the hood down and you’re just cruising, but as an everyday car try to spend a little more and grab yourself a 3.0l sport, preferably a Quattro. However, it is very smooth and swift. Perfect for everyday driving.

What's it like to park?

The best thing is, it has a glass rear window, which provides good visibility. Once you have the hand of it, it is fine to park.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Beware of hood problems; find a car with no previous hood problem history. If you don’t quite trust the dealers; locate the hood locking tool on the driver’s side dash panel and just check the condition. Obviously if the tool looks new, the hood has probably never gone wrong. But if it looks used....beware.

What's most practical about your car?

The rear leg room is fantastic, best in its class, most saloons do not have the leg room of this car.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

My car is box standard, apart from it having 19’’ S-Line wheels which makes it look as sharp as they get.
