What does this car say about you?
That I treat myself well and like a bit of exclusivity.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all love it. People stare at it admiringly and make very positive comments even though it's last generation and 6 years old.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would if I were in the market for this next time round.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably the new 640d Gran Coupe as I will need the doors :(.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I don't think I got the best "deal" in the world in monetary terms but they paid off all the remaining finance on my old car which was slightly more than its actual value.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I had a Vauxhall Monaro before and still wanted a coupe body but one that did not kick me in the face every time I wanted to fill up at the pumps.
What was the dealer like?
Excellent - my salesman was a genuine car enthusiast and was a good trustworthy guy.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's sublime - M Sport suspension is firm but on a good road surface nothing touches it. It is incredibly responsive; good smooth gearbox and wonderful in-gear acceleration (beats the M6 between 50 - 70mph which is one of the most useful bands).
What's it like to park?
Fine with the excellent PDC (parking distance control). The only niggle is the annoying way BMW mirrors angle downwards on the nearside when reversing.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only the typical stuff with low profile tyres in that they are fairly puncture prone. Apart from the that the last 12 months have been faultless.
What's most practical about your car?
Definitely the economy/performance balance. This car has superb torque thanks to its twin turbo set up and yet doesn't punish you for it. It's a beautiful GT you can use everyday.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Contrary to pretty much everyone; I like iDrive.
