Citroën has added its C3 Picasso and C4 models to its new Airdream+ range with both boasting improved fuel economy and lower emissions.

Both Airdream+ models follow on from the 99g/km C3 Airdream+ launched at the start of the year.

The Airdream+ C3 Picasso returns 62.8mpg with 119g/km of CO2 and the C4's fuel economy is 64.2mpg with CO2 emissions of 115g/km. Both models are in the 13% benefit-in-kind company car tax bracket and incur no road tax costs for the first year.

Airdream+ models include a range of 'green' technologies such as fuel-efficient diesel engines and optimised gearbox technology designed to keep revs down. Citroen says 85% of the components are recyclable.

The Airdream+ trim is based on Citroen's VTR specification but also features rear parking sensors, Bluetooth connectivity and USB socket for portable music players.

The C3 Picasso Airdream+, which is priced at £14,645, also gets electric rear windows and electrically adjustable, heated and folding door mirrors, while the C4 Hatchback Airdream+, priced at £18,345, also gets automatic digital air conditioning.
