Renault and Vauxhall have announced details of their new joint venture large van, the Master and Movano respectively, which go on sale in April.

As well as a new look, the flagship vans now come with a new 2.3-litre dCi turbodiesel engine available in 100, 125 and 150bhp outputs.

Front and rear-wheel formats are offered, with the latter taking the vans up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight (GVW). Front-wheel drive models are between 2.8 and 3.5 tonnes GVW.

As well as four body lengths and three roof heights, the manufacturers claim there are more than 300 versions of the new vans available.

Prices start at £20,975 (excluding VAT and OTR charges) for the Renault and £21,660 for the Vauxhall.
