Skoda is offering customers a new trim level called SE Plus on all models right across the range.

Available on the Fabia, Octavia, Roomster, Superb and Yeti, the new equipment grade will sit between SE and Elegance models and offer value-for-money added kit according to the company.

As well as the new equipment grades there are also two new engines exclusive to selected SE Plus models. A new 1.8-litre TSI petrol engine with 150bhp is available on the Yeti, Octavia and Superb, while a new 2.0-litre diesel with 108bhp can be specified on the Octavia.

According to Skoda, customers could save up to £1,310 with the Octavia hatch SE Plus. This comes with 16-inch alloys, unique upholstery, rear parking sensors, Isofix front passenger seat, touchscreen sat-nav, Bluetooth, a multi-function steering wheel and an auxiliary input for MP3 players. The extra kit costs £2,270 over the SE version, but buyers will pay just £960 extra.

The savings continue across the range with Superb hatch customers saving up to £1,210. Anyone looking at a Yeti SE Plus will save £610 over the SE model, while Fabia buyers getting the added equipment save themselves £620. Finally, the Roomster gets £945 worth of added kit at just £530 extra - meaning a saving of £415.

The new SE Plus trim level is available to order on all Skoda models now.
