Cars on show: Civic Tourer, 2014 Civic hatchback and Honda NSX Concept II

Honda Civic Tourer

No great surprises here as there has been plenty of coverage on the new estate version of the Civic already, but this is the car’s first public appearance.

The Honda Civic Tourer (that’s estate to you and me) is as distinctively designed as the hatchback on which it is based, and promises class leading load space according to Honda. It certainly packs a bigger boot than the Ford Focus or Vauxhall Astra, it’s due on sale early 2014 and will cost £800 to a £1000 more than the hatchback.

More information is available in our Honda Civic Tourer preview.

Honda Civic Hatchback

Honda promises a ‘refreshed 2014 Civic (that) will feature exterior and interior design refinements’ so it may be a case of spot the difference as engines and trims are unlikely to change from the 2013 version . There are also rumours the Civic Type R could make its first appearance at the Frankfurt motorshow – so watch this space.

NSX II Concept

Getting ever closer to the finished article, the NSX II aims to bring the legendary supercar into the 21st century. Honda has already showcased the car at the Geneva motor show this Spring but the focus this time is on the interior. Expect a sports car interior married to luxury touches and the latest in infotainment systems.
