Car on show: Gallardo Squadra Corse

Fastest-ever final Gallardo

The final iteration of the Gallardo, Lamborghini’s smaller supercar, is here. Based on the Superleggera, this is the most hardcore car to be produced under the Gallardo name badge.

It’s mammoth 5.2-litre V10 engine makes 562bhp, and is actually exactly the same as some of Lamborghini’s racing engines – an extra bit of pub fact for potential buyers.

It’ll hit 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 198mph, although probably a more disturbing figure is the 0-124mph time of just 10.4 seconds. This is one fast car.

The gearbox is a six-speed automatic with paddle-shifter behind the steering wheel, and it also boasts four-wheel drive for superior grip.

It’ll cost in the region of £200,000.
