If you're looking to buy a new or used car in October then there are plenty of deals available that could save you thousands. Here are the details of the UK's best car deals as we hear about them.

Monday 31 October

Friday 21 October

• The Peugeot 508 saloon is on sale at Buy a Car for £16,426. That'll save you £3,914 off the recommended list price. Equipped with a frugal 1.6-litre diesel engine, the 508 is claimed to average over 60mpg.

Thursday 20 October

• The Ford Mondeo, in high-specification Titanium X trim, is available from Buy a New Car Online for £19,303. That's a substantial saving of £5,092 off the recommended list price. It comes with an economical 1.6-litre diesel engine.

Wednesday 19 October

• Better Car Deal is selling the Mercedes-Benz C-Class C180 BlueEFFICIENCY SE for £23,413. That'll save you £2,511 off the list price.

Tuesday 18 October

• If you're looking for a huge saving on a Vauxhall Insignia, then look no further. Save on New Cars is selling the 1.8-litre 16V "Exclusiv" model for £12,395. That's a massive saving of £7,915 off the recommended list price.

Monday 17 October

Tuesday 11 October

• Hartwell is selling the Jaguar XK R coupe for £75,223. That's a saving of £14,091 off the list price.

Monday 10 October

Friday 7 October

Tuesday 4 October
