Nissan Note gets upgraded for 2012

The Nissan Note, a compact people carrier, has been given a number of different updates for the latest 2012 model.

Changes include some minor upgrades to trim levels, while an updated top-of-the-range trim is also available.

Acenta versions of the Nissan Note, which is a rival to the likes of the Honda Jazz and Skoda Roomster, now get 16-inch two-tone alloys to replace the old 15-inch wheels. There are also a few more cosmetic additions like chrome-effect door mirror covers and front fog lights.

Inside, Acenta cars get a new seat fabric with blue stitching. Climate control, automatic headlights and automatic wipers now come as standard.

From 2012 N-TEC cars, the most popular specification in the range, will benefit from a series of minor additions. Badged as N-TEC+, this new trim level adds rear parking sensors along with tinted rear windows and touch screen sat-nav. The ‘Connect’ sat-nav includes an iPod connection, an auxiliary connection and a Bluetooth connection.

Despite the aesthetic addition the engine line-up remains the same. Buyers can pick from 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol engines, or a 1.5-litre dCi diesel option.

The latest Nissan Note will be available from February. The entry level Visia version starts at £11,200, while prices for the Acenta model begin at £13,000. New N-TEC+ cars will cost upwards of £13,500.
