Perodua extends swappage scheme 18 August 2010 Email this page Zoom Minimum £1,000 trade-in discount Available on both Myvi and Kenari models Scheme runs until October 31 Tweet Perodua has extended its 'swappage allowance' scheme, which will now continue until October 31. This will enable customers who are looking to buy a Perodua, and have a car to trade in, to take advantage of a minimum £1,000 discount. Perodua will accept any vehicle, regardless of age or condition, for the trade-in. The offer means that customers can get a Myvi hatchback for £6,799, inclusive of the minimum trade-in value, six months' road tax and the registration fee. The Myvi comes with power steering, air conditioning, a CD player, airbags, electric windows and mirrors, central locking and more. Optional extras include different paint finishes at no extra cost, an automatic gearbox for £700 and a 'convenience pack' with extra trim and remote central locking for £175. This scheme also applies to the Perodua Kenari which, with the minimum £1,000 discount, is available from £5,799. Parker's tipAs with all trade-ins, do make sure that you are getting a good price for your car, as sometimes it makes more sense to sell privately and go into the dealer with cash in hand. This can put you in a stronger position to negotiate discounts. If you're looking for convenience, a trade-in can be a very hassle-free solution. A number of other Perodua dealers are currently running other offers, so customers who are not looking to trade in under the swappage allowance can still stand to benefit by contacting their local dealer directly.
