Alfa Romeo GT (04-10) - Review Review by Ben Wall on 16 October 2006 Last Updated: 06 May 2009 The sophisticated GT coupe is every inch a proper Alfa Romeo and although it may be overshadowed by the newer Brera, it's still a good choice. Stunningly good looking it has a great interior and is available with some excellent engines, including a diesel. It may not be the best coupe of this size to drive, but it’s great value for money on the used market. Charisma is much in abundance for the enthusiast and it's been pretty reliable so far - something that's not always been the case for Alfa Romeo. 4 out of 5 Other Alfa Romeo reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3.5 out of 5 Safety The GT has not been crash tested by Euro NCAP, but you do get six airbags and all the expected safety features including traction control and a fire prevention system. An alarm and immobiliser, plus deadlocks should help to keep it secure. Euro NCAP Provides motoring consumers with a realistic and independent assessment of the safety performance of some of the most popular cars sold in Europe. Don't be surprised if you see some niggles but remember - plenty of owners of German cars also suffer problems. Car check problem points Body No problems reported.
