Audi TT Coupé (06 on) - Review Review by Simon Harris on 05 September 2006 Last Updated: 27 October 2010 Audi's second generation TT is clearly related to its predecessor - but thanks to sleeker lines the coupe has a more aggressive and sporty appearance than before. If any criticism could have been levelled at the original TT, it would have been a lack of interior space and the fact that it was a less rewarding drive than some rivals. Audi has taken both of these factors on board to create a larger but lighter TT Coupe with improved handling and more space inside. The TT should, once again, be top of wish lists for people who want a stylish sports coupe and there's a good choice of engines available including an economical TDI which is capable of 53mpg. 4.5 out of 5 Other Audi reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3.5 out of 5 Running costs Insurance groups are lower than for the previous model, despite the car being quicker while the TDI offers the potential for more than 53mpg in everyday driving. The TT is expected to be best in class for holding its value but servicing isn't cheap, especially at Audi main dealers, although you should receive excellent customer service. * based on most recent data Estimated fuel cost for 10,000 miles per year Unleaded £1,395 - £2,273 * Diesel £1,209 - £1,257 * The estimated fuel cost figure is a guide to how much this model will cost to fuel each year, so you can compare between cars.
