BMW traditionally launches a Touring version last of all, but this time it comes ahead of the 3-Series Coupe and Convertible, as BMW has recognised that sales of premium estates are growing and that of saloons falling. Previous criticisms of a lack of space in the rear and boot have been met with an increase in these areas.
