BMW 3-Series Touring (95-99) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1995 Popular version of the 3-Series offered a welcome hike in practicality thanks to the extra luggage space. But a lot of them were bought because of the image - more country life than British Touring Car racer. Not as cheap to run as a Mondeo or Vectra - but choosing a 3-Series is more about style and status. It does not disappoint in any key areas, and its desirable image is holding up well despite being replaced. It's a real driving machine that's still in demand, so prices remain high. 3.5 out of 5 Other BMW reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3 out of 5 Comfort Legroom in the back is one of the biggest criticism: there's just not enough of it for three to sit in comfort. Two adults may find longer trips uncomfortable, too, but children should be fine. Ride is on the firm side, but noise levels are well suppressed. Interior materials are top notch for this age of car. Fair to say it’s a cut above the average. 3.5 out of 5 Practicality A generous load area makes the 3-Series Touring the perfect compromise between practicality, affordability and image. The rear seats split and fold for extra room, too. Get a BMW 3-Series Touring valuation How does the boot space compare?
