Chevrolet Epica Saloon (08-09) - Review Review by Simon Harris on 15 May 2008 Last Updated: 14 April 2009 The Epica is Chevrolet's first attempt at a large family saloon in the UK and like the firm's other models majors on value for money. Offering Mondeo-rivalling space for Focus money it comes well equipped with entry-level models getting air conditioning, cruise control and alloy wheels while passenger and boot space are good. Like the Kia Magentis and Dodge Avenger it represents bargain-basement family motoring but unfortunately the drab cabin and driving experience already feel behind the times. 2.5 out of 5 Other Chevrolet reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 2 out of 5 Dodge Avenger (07-09) Individual looks, roomy inside, strong Volkswagen-sourced diesel engine Budget car feel at mainstream car prices, cheap and ugly interior, unrefined, dull to drive Read full review 3 out of 5 Kia Magentis (06-10) Roomy cabin, comfortable ride, easy to drive, good diesel choice Bland looks, interior lacks sophistication, vague steering Read full review 2 out of 5 Hyundai Sonata (05-10) Five year warranty, spacious interior, decent diesel option, well built Dull styling, not enjoyable to drive, cheap feeling interior, vague gearchange, poor automatic Read full review Find other saloon cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
