Chevrolet Lacetti Hatchback (05-11) - Review Review by David Ross on 07 November 2008 Last Updated: 14 April 2009 The exotic sounding Lacetti looks fairly attractive - that's mainly due to the input of the famous styling house Italdesign. It's a budget-priced medium-sized hatchback that's main attraction is generous equipment levels and low prices. But it's dull to drive - albeit comfortable on the motorway - and lacks the refinement of similarly priced alternatives like the Kia Ceed. The engines aren't particularly good, either in terms of performance or economy, while the interior looks dated and feels cheap. 2.5 out of 5 Other Chevrolet reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 2 out of 5 Kia Cerato Hatchback (04-06) Well equipped, good value, affordable to run, comfortable Dull styling, poor quality and cheap-looking interior, unexciting to drive Read full review 3 out of 5 Hyundai Elantra Hatchback (01-06) Good ride and a more precise gearchange than before.
