Chevrolet Lacetti Hatchback (05-11) - Review Review by David Ross on 07 November 2008 Last Updated: 14 April 2009 The exotic sounding Lacetti looks fairly attractive - that's mainly due to the input of the famous styling house Italdesign. It's a budget-priced medium-sized hatchback that's main attraction is generous equipment levels and low prices. But it's dull to drive - albeit comfortable on the motorway - and lacks the refinement of similarly priced alternatives like the Kia Ceed. The 1.6SX has air conditioning, side airbags, alloy wheels, rake and reach adjustment for the steering column, remote central door locking, powered and heated door mirrors and electric windows all-round. The steering wheel and gear knob are leather-covered. The top of the range Sport model (powered by the 1.8-litre engine) gets a bodykit, 15-inch alloy wheels, lowered suspension, front fog lights, full leather seat trim, a leather-covered steering wheel and gear knob, air conditioning, a cooled glove box, four electric windows, electrically adjustable mirrors and a six-speaker Blaupunkt CD/Radio with steering wheel-mounted controls.
