Good fuel economy, easy to drive around town, small dimensions make it a doddle to park

Slow performance, cheap interior, unrefined
The Matiz is Chevrolet's small car that's designed primarily for city and town driving. Thanks to the small dimensions it is ideal for nipping in and out of traffic and is also a doddle to park, but it's not particularly nippy or enjoyable to drive. There are two engines available, both of which are sluggish and not especially refined - although economy is good with an average of more than 50mpg. The Matiz also has decent interior space for a small car and the five-doors make accessing the back seats easy.
