Chrysler 300C Touring (06-10) - Review Review by Dan Harrison on 10 July 2006 Last Updated: 10 November 2008 Few estates have looks as distinctive as the 300C Touring. With its menacing styling, big chrome grille and flared wheel arches, it's as American as large estates get and a realistic alternative to the likes of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. But it's not all about looks. This is one estate that's exceptionally well equipped, very comfortable, practical and competitively priced - in fact it undercuts its rivals by a minimum of several thousand pounds. There's also an excellent engine available in the shape of the 3.0 CRD diesel, which is quick and economical, although if you can afford the fuel bills, there is the option of an all-American 5.7-litre V8. 4 out of 5 Other Chrysler reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 4.5 out of 5 BMW 5-Series Touring (03-10) Wide choice of strong yet efficient engines, good load area, great to drive, superbly built cabin Styling still not to everyone's taste, similar-sized estates offer more boot space Read full review 4 out of 5 Volvo V70 (07 on) Strong build quality, stylish and modern interior, supremely comfortable seats, impressive refinement, low emissions DRIVe versions available Not the biggest estate around, dull to drive Read full review 3.5 out of 5 Saab 9-5 Estate (05-10) Decent-sized boot, good value for money, well equipped, strong turbocharged engines, comfortable on long distances An all-new version is long overdue, feels dated, only one diesel engine available Read full review Find other estate cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
