Chrysler Crossfire Roadster (04-08) - Review Review by Ben Wall on 20 May 2008 If you need a two-seat convertible to get you noticed then the Crossfire Roadster is worth a look. What it lacks in badge image, it makes up for with visual appeal and relative exclusivity - as a used buy it can make a bargain open top sports car. However its by far the perfect package. The engine is sluggish, the gearboxes (both automatic and manual) are poor and it is dull to drive. The cheap-feeling plasticky interior and cramped cockpit complete the underwhelming package. 2.5 out of 5 Other Chrysler reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 4 out of 5 BMW Z4 Roadster (03-08) Sharp handling, sophisticated image, quick-action roof Far from generous levels of standard kit Read full review 4 out of 5 Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster (04-11) Neat styling, good quality interior, refined with roof down More powerful models are expensive to run, poor manual gearbox, no diesel option Read full review 4.5 out of 5 Audi TT Roadster (07 on) Fun to drive, stylish looks, fast folding roof, superbly built interior, TDI available Fabric hood isn't as secure as a metal top, thirsty V6 engine Read full review Find other convertible cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
