Chrysler Neon (99-03) - Review

A re-skinned version of the 96-99 Neon, with excellent levels of standard equipment, all at a competitive price. The hot Neon R/T looks good and is willing, but the engine feels coarse and strained. Sadly the problems with rear space and the poor ride quality remain. This does not endear it to family buyers.

Running costs

Fuel consumption is a reasonable 35mpg, servicing is cheap, as are the parts. Insurance is similar to other cars in the class but depreciation is worse than average on newer cars (although it's not as much of an issue as the car gets older).
