Chrysler Neon (99-03) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1999 A re-skinned version of the 96-99 Neon, with excellent levels of standard equipment, all at a competitive price. The hot Neon R/T looks good and is willing, but the engine feels coarse and strained. Sadly the problems with rear space and the poor ride quality remain. This does not endear it to family buyers. 3 out of 5 Other Chrysler reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3 out of 5 Safety The LX is best with ABS, EBD and traction control. Twin airbags are standard on both versions. Neon has never had very impressive locks but if getting into this model is easy, driving it away is much more difficult thanks to the Thatcham-approved alarm and immobiliser.
