Citroën C2 VTS (04-09) - Review Review by David Ross on 14 November 2008 The VTS is the hot hatch version in the C2 range and, unlike the limited edition GT model, has genuine performance from its 125bhp petrol engine with a 0-62mph time of 8.3 seconds. It's also available with a punchy diesel that's cheap to tax and will return 64mpg. The VTS handles well thanks to the C2's lightweight body plus there's minimal body roll in corners. Unfortunately the light steering lacks feel and detracts somewhat from the driving enjoyment while the vague gearbox is another disappointment. But affordable prices and low running costs make the VTS a good value junior hot hatch. 3 out of 5 Other Citroën reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 3 out of 5 Mitsubishi Colt CZT (05-08) Decent performance, buzzy turbocharged engine Artificial steering feel, poor interior materials, doesn't feel special to drive Read full review 4 out of 5 Fiat Panda 100HP (06-10) Sporty and funky looks, peppy performance, great fun to drive, cheap to insure Not especially fast, tiny boot, firm ride Read full review 3.5 out of 5 Renault Twingo Renaultsport (08 on) Good fun to drive, peppy engine, funky hot hatch styling, good value Noisy at motorway speeds, not especially refined, cramped rear seats Read full review Find other hatchback cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
