Daewoo Matiz (98-05) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1998 Well packaged five-seater mini MPV which offers useful load capacity combined with better looks than rivals such as Toyota Yaris Verso and Suzuki Wagon R+. Generous spec, standard power steering, excellent warranty, free servicing for three years. All at very keen prices. The latest 1.0 litre engine is more useful than the 800cc version which struggles when fully laden on motorways. 3 out of 5 Other Daewoo reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 2.5 out of 5 Comfort Plenty of room, supportive seats, but performance suffers noticeably with every extra passenger. 3 out of 5 Practicality Not a lot of boot space, but flexible interior means you can juggle seats around to make more. Don't expect to find hidden cupholders and secret storage - that's a generation further on than the Matiz. Get a Daewoo Matiz valuation View full gallery How does the boot space compare? Everything is where you'd expect, the seat's comfy, visibility is good and controls are logically laid out. Pedals are a bit close for size-11 feet.
