Daewoo Nubira Saloon (03-05) - Review

Review by Parkers on
The Nubira was launched in 2003 and is an attractive package for the buyer looking for (almost) care-free ownership for three years, with free servicing, warranty and breakdown cover. The spec is good and list prices are competitive. Sounds too good to be true? Partly. It's not an exciting drive and depreciation is steeper than European rivals. But it makes sense as low-cost, comfortable transport. The estate is launched later this year.

Buying used

There should be no excuses about missing service history - it's free after all! Walk away from any car that doesn't have one. Best cars are still within the Daewoo dealer network with growing numbers on the private market. Depreciation makes it quite a bargain.

Selling

A steady market for this car. It's modern, well-equipped and the three-year servicing/warranty/breakdown cover which is transferable between owners. Depreciation means prices are low, too.
