Daewoo Nubira Saloon (03-05) - Review

Review by Parkers on
The Nubira was launched in 2003 and is an attractive package for the buyer looking for (almost) care-free ownership for three years, with free servicing, warranty and breakdown cover. The spec is good and list prices are competitive. Sounds too good to be true? Partly. It's not an exciting drive and depreciation is steeper than European rivals. But it makes sense as low-cost, comfortable transport. The estate is launched later this year.

Comfort

A spacious rear with comfortable seats and lots of legroom. Enough room for three over short distances, or four for longer trips.

Practicality

Lots of nifty cubbyholes, including cupholders and a large chilled glovebox (for drinks and snacks). The boot is large and can carry several suitcases, although there is quite a high lip.

Behind the wheel

A decent driving position with plenty of adjustment and a simple, logically laid-out dashboard. Steering adjusts for height in the SX and height in the CDX.
