Daihatsu Terios (97-05) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1997 As a tiny off-roader, the Terios is not really suited to the roads of the UK. It isn't a competent on-road performer like the RAV-4, and yet it can't cope with much more than a muddy track, either. The narrow body and high seating position are useful in town, but it isn't able to deliver much in the way of performance. Perhaps the only thing in its favour is Daihatsu's claim that it has the cleanest emissions of any 4x4. 1.5 out of 5 Other Daihatsu reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 2 out of 5 Suzuki Jimny (98 on) Cheap to buy and run, good off-road, robust build, well equipped, selectable four-wheel drive Feels dated, noisy and uncomfortable on the move, unrefined, non-existent boot, sluggish performance Read full review 3 out of 5 Kia Sportage (95-03) Family-sized fun in a compact package Rather crude; not up to the real rough stuff Read full review 4 out of 5 Toyota RAV4 (00-05) Nimble handling, funky looks Numb steering Read full review Find other 4x4 cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
