2006 was effectively 'year zero' for the Dodge brand in the UK marking the launch of its range of mainstream cars. It was the year the company introduced the Caliber compact family car, while the Avenger is one of two new models to follow in 2007. The Avenger brings a dash of bold American styling to the rather sober and safe-looking large family car segment. Available only as a saloon, the Avenger is roomy and priced against cars like the Kia Magentis, Skoda Superb and Mazda6. It's a less well executed vehicle than all of them, however, and while it can offer some unique specification, it is doubtful that customers would regret losing out if they were to choose one of its rivals.
