Dodge Avenger (07-09) - Review Review by Simon Harris on 10 April 2007 Last Updated: 05 December 2008 The Avenger brings a dash of bold American styling to the rather sober and safe-looking large family car segment. Available only as a saloon, the Avenger is roomy and priced against cars like the Kia Magentis. However it's a less well executed vehicle and although it comes with a good diesel engine, borrowed from Volkswagen, it's an average car at best. The poor quality interior and flimsy plastics only reinforce the budget feel and on the road the lack of refinement and sophistication are all too evident. 2 out of 5 Other Dodge reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 2.5 out of 5 Running costs While the Avenger is priced against mainstream rivals, despite its high level of equipment, it has a budget car feel - list prices are a little high as they are.
