Fiat Coupé (95-00) - Review Review by Ben Wall on 20 September 2006 Last Updated: 10 December 2008 For striking and timeless looks, few cars can match the wonderfully styled Fiat Coupe. Well proportioned and athletic it has aged particularly well and still looks fresh despite first being introduced in 1995. It's available with a choice of engines but it's the five-cylinder turbocharged version of the 2.0-litre (badged 20v) that is the most sought after, particularly by enthusiasts. With keen handling and a smooth ride the Coupe is a good everyday car with two useful rear seats and a good-sized boot. Air conditioning was only introduced as standard on all models in August 1999 - prior to that it was an option. Unusually the Fiat comes with a rear wash wiper, which helps rear visibility, especially in poor weather. The five-cylinder models came with an improved ventilation system and an uprated stereo while in 1999 a special edition LE model was launched with a six-speed gearbox.
