Fiat Qubo (09 on) - Review

Review by Simon Harris on
The Fiat Qubo is a small people carrier that majors on practicality and family-friendly features. It's hard to disguise the fact that it's based on a van - in this case the Fiat Fiorino, but unlike older commercial-vehicle based cars, the Qubo is actually pretty sophisticated and refined. It has car-like driving characteristics, which is good news for someone used to driving a small hatchback and the interior is neatly finished with quality materials and a good driving position. Add in a plenty of rear passenger room plus a useful boot and the Qubo makes a good small family car. It also has low running costs thanks to economical engines, while the diesel is cheap to tax.

Huge practicality in a small package, cheap to run, sliding rear doors, funky image

Looks very much like a van still, sluggish engines, fidgets on rough roads
