Fiat Sedici (06-11) - Review Review by Simon Harris on 24 April 2006 Last Updated: 15 December 2008 It may be called the Sedici (Italian for 16 - in reference to its 4x4 system), but this small Fiat isn't a hardcore all terrain car. True, most models come with four-wheel drive as standard, but it is designed to primarily be a small and practical family car with some off-road ability - ideal for tackling muddy inclines and dusty gravel paths. It's actually a joint project with Suzuki (which builds the virtually identical Sedici in the same factory) and is well put together with a comfortable and neat cabin. Standard equipment on the Dynamic includes black roof rails, 16-inch steel wheels, cloth trim, remote central locking, electric front windows, front fog lights, air conditioning, split/folding rear seat, space-saver spare wheel, four airbags and a CD stereo. Eleganza models add electric rear windows, 16-inch alloys, interior chrome trim, leather-covered steering wheel, automatic climate control and steering wheel audio controls. Options on the Dynamic models include, metallic paint, alloy wheels, electric rear windows, dark tinted rear windows and an MP3 player while on Eleganza models you can specify leather trim, a six-CD autochanger, Connect Nav+ satellite navigation (or turn-by-turn rather than full map) and curtain airbags.
