Ford Galaxy (00-06) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 2000 Basically the same as VW's Sharan and SEAT's Alhambra. Not as flash as the Renault Espace but well liked by owners and less van-like than some big MPVs. Equipment levels are adequate; all have air-con, good security and lots of safety equipment. And like-for-like, it's cheaper than VW's Sharan. 4 out of 5 Other Ford reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 4 out of 5 Comfort All engines are refined, although the TDIs need 10 or 15 minutes to warm up. Wind noise on the motorway is minimal and road noise is not a problem. View full gallery 3.5 out of 5 Practicality The seats are heavy and awkward to remove. The load area isn't very big, so if you're carrying luggage, the rear two seats need to come up. But once out, there's lots of space for boxes or large objects. Rear two passengers may find the back a bit of a squeeze. Get a Ford Galaxy valuation View full gallery How does the boot space compare?
