Entry-level models get 15-inch steel wheels, ABS, brake pad warning light, power steering, driver and passenger airbags, analogue clock, heated windscreen, tinted rear glass, electric front windows, passenger sunvisor with vanity mirror, odometer, speedometer, tachometer, trip recorder, internally adjustable body coloured door mirrors, body coloured bumpers with black bump strips, high mounted rear brake light, rear foglight, manual air conditioning, four-spoke steering wheel, cigar lighter, chrome finished handbrake button and interior door handles, front armrests, illuminated load area and glovebox, height adjustable front seatbelts, side impact door beams, height adjustable head restraints, anti-submarining seats, front seatback pockets, immobiliser, central locking, removable control panel for audio system, and visible VIN. Zetec upgrades to 16-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels, and adds front fog lights, four passenger compartment reading lights, swivelling front seats, perimeter alarm with volume sensing and locking wheel nuts. Ghia models upgrade to 16-inch six-spoke alloy wheels, plus add cruise control, front and rear parking distance sensors, electric heated and adjustable door mirrors, CD autochanger, body colour door and tailgate handles, front air conditioning with automatic control, a leather steering wheel, gearknob and handbrake grip. Options include 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather trim, towbar, pearlescent or metallic paint, a multi-function steering wheel, dual air conditioning and a satellite navigation system. The four option packs are technology pack, which adds traction control; the power pack adds front and rear electric windows, heated front seats; multimedia pack adds a DVD player while the journey pack adds a DVD player and navigation system.
