Ford Galaxy (06 on) - Review Review by Ben Wall on 21 April 2006 Last Updated: 24 November 2010 The Ford Galaxy is a very popular people carrier and it's not hard to see why. Practical, spacious and car-like to drive it comes with a great range of engines including some very economical diesels. All models come with seven independent seats and the rear five easily fold flat to create a huge load space while there are more than 30 stowage compartments on board. Ford actually has two large people carriers in its range - the S-MAX and the Galaxy. They're based on the same underpinnings, but the Galaxy is the more practical of the two. Unfortunately it looks quite boxy as a result, but it does mean there's plenty of space for all passengers. Ford revised the Galaxy in 2010 with chrome grille bars and LED rear lights. A new petrol and diesel engine were also introduced, along with Ford’s Powershift double-clutch gearbox. 4 out of 5 Other Ford reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 4 out of 5 Summary Tweet New price range: £24,955 - £33,610 View all new prices Used price range: £5,820 - £26,208 View all used prices See 55 new models for sale from £20,067 Get a Ford Galaxy (06 on) information pack Next steps Ford Galaxy cars for sale Use our cars for sale search facility to find great deals on second hand cars.
