Ford Galaxy (06 on) - Review

There are three basic trim levels - LX (later changed to Edge), Zetec and Ghia. Basic models get electric windows and mirrors, air conditioning, ESP stability control, Quickclear heated windscreen, steering wheel mounted stereo controls, remote central locking, power steering, privacy glass, Isofix child mounting points, central overheard console and a CD stereo. The Zetec adds climate control, alloy wheels, a leather gear lever and steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors, an alarm, electrically adjustable driver's seat and seat back trays while the Ghia model gets automatic headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, a DAB Sony stereo, rain sensitive wipers and cruise control. Heated and ventilated front seats can be specified as an option. In 2010 Ford dropped the entry-level Edge and top end Ghia models, leaving Zetec, Titanium and Titanium X. The Zetec comes with climate control, electric windows, the Quickclear windscreen, steering wheel controls for the stereo, remote central locking, rear privacy glass, alloy wheels, Isofix child seats mounts and a CD stereo. Titanium adds gloss black finish around the centre console, while Ebony full leather is an option. Titanium X models gain leather seats, cruise control and rain sensitive wipers, while an uprated stereo is an option with touch-screen.
