Honda Accord Hatchback (99-03) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1999 This Accord had a bit of an image problem when it was new. Upwardly mobile middle management types saw it as dull and aimed instead for the lower levels of the 3-Series/C-Class hierarchy. It was shame, because underneath the contemporary - if conservative - bodies is a fun-to-drive, value-for-money executive car - and that's why it's a hit amongst used buyers today. 4 out of 5 Other Honda reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3 out of 5 Comfort Interior space is only average for a car that's over 15 feet in length, although it's better than the old Accord. Fit and finish are not quite the match of BMW or Mercedes-Benz, but it all feels durable and well built. The cabin is well insulated from wind, road and engine noise. 3 out of 5 Practicality An otherwise adequate luggage space is hindered by the suspension turrets that make loading bulky or awkwardly-shaped objects difficult. A few clever cubbies inside. Get a Honda Accord Hatchback valuation How does the boot space compare?
