Honda Accord Saloon (98-03) - Review

Review by Parkers on
The Accord looks no more adventurous than before, but underneath the sleekly anonymous exterior are sophisticated VTEC engines. The chassis has also been revised, so although only the Type-R looks the part, even the 1.8i is a fine drive. And there are now practical hatchbacks, too. As always, overall quality is superb, and Accord is very competitively priced considering all that it offers.

Buying used

Legendary Honda quality, sensible running costs and good fuel consumption have made Accord a forecourt favourite. Prices are very competitive, even for the most desirable model with air conditioning and alloy wheels.

Selling

Plenty of buyers around for this well-specced, good-to-drive compact executive. Cars with a full service history will make the fastest sales.
