Honda Accord Saloon (98-03) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1998 The Accord looks no more adventurous than before, but underneath the sleekly anonymous exterior are sophisticated VTEC engines. The chassis has also been revised, so although only the Type-R looks the part, even the 1.8i is a fine drive. And there are now practical hatchbacks, too. As always, overall quality is superb, and Accord is very competitively priced considering all that it offers. 4 out of 5 Other Honda reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3.5 out of 5 Running costs Competes with other ex-fleet models despite higher parts and servicing costs; insurance starts at just Group 8 thanks to lower repair costs; fuel consumption is good.
