Disappointingly, the Honda Legend never really lived up to its name, despite being a hugely competent executive saloon that does most things well and nothing particularly badly. One stumbling block was that it lacked prestige – a necessity with executive cars – and Honda is not renowned for luxury cars.

Disappointingly, the Honda Legend never really lived up to its name, despite being a hugely competent executive saloon that does most things well and nothing particularly badly. One stumbling block was that it lacked prestige – a necessity with executive cars – and Honda is not renowned for luxury cars. However, the Legend’s dynamics are fine, there’s a high level of equipment as standard and there is very little wrong that you can put your finger on to explain its relatively poor UK reception.

What owners say...

Great boot. So comfortable. Memory seats are excellent. This is as quiet, if not quieter than my 96 LS 400.
