Hyundai Accent (06-09) - Review Review by Simon Harris on 24 August 2007 The Hyundai Accent Atlantic was launched in 2006 as a special edition of the Accent range. However, this Accent was significantly different from previous versions of the car with improved quality, more appealing styling and a new engine. Only one version of the Accent Atlantic is available, and it's a three-door model. Customers had the choice of an optional four-speed automatic transmission and metallic paint as the only extras. Good value, and Hyundai's warranty offers reassurance against faults for five years. 3.5 out of 5 Other Hyundai reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3 out of 5 Safety A fairly low airbag count at two (driver and passenger), and ABS has been fitted to mainstream cars in Europe since 2004, so no great effort seems to have been made here.
