Hyundai Accent Saloon (03-03) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 2003 This Accent shares the same name as the model that ran from 1994-1999, but it's an all-new model. It also got a tweak in 2003. It's a straight-forward, practical and reliable Focus-sized car - available as a three or five-door hatchback or a four-door saloon. The Accent is good value (it comes with a five-year/unlimited mileage warranty as standard) and reliable, but the blob-like styling will not appeal to all buyers and rivals hold their value better. 2 out of 5 Other Hyundai reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Company Car Info Gallery 2.5 out of 5 Comfort Plenty of headroom, and legroom for the front passenger, but adults in the back may find it a little cramped. Some noise from the wind, road and engine (especially 1.3 and 1.5 models). Good ride aids comfort. 3 out of 5 Practicality Accent is a practical little car - so it's no surprise that there's a large boot. It's deep and wide, but quite high off the ground, so it's not always that easy to access.. But it could be a bit closer to the ground. Some useful cabin storage (and cupholders), but the glovebox could be a little larger. Get a Hyundai Accent Saloon valuation How does the boot space compare? The steering wheel adjusts for reach but not for rake. Interior has a basic look to it, but everything is in a logical place and is easy to sue.
