Hyundai Elantra Hatchback (01-06) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 2001 A higher quality product than the Lantra it replaced. But it's no driver's ca. Steering lacks feel, there’s more bodyroll than expected and grip is not a strong point. Elantra is a spacious family choice, but best bought used, as depreciation is high compared to European rivals. 3 out of 5 Other Hyundai reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 2 out of 5 Citroën Xsara Hatchback (00-04) Lively new engines, above-average safety.
