Hyundai Getz (02-09) - Review Review by Parkers on 25 August 2006 Last Updated: 27 January 2009 The Getz is one of Hyundai's most popular models and it's easy to see why. Cheap to run, spacious inside and a five-year warranty as standard make it a good choice if you're looking for an affordable and easy to drive car. There are few thrills to be had though and it's not especially comfortable either, with a cheap and dated interior plus a bouncy ride. The dull looks do little to help raise the temperature but at least there's good passenger space, particularly in the back where it is impressively roomy for such a small car. There's also a good choice of engines including the CRTD diesel which is cheap to tax and returns 63mpg. 2.5 out of 5 Other Hyundai reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 2 out of 5 Chevrolet Kalos (05-08) Value for money and cheap to run, well equipped Lacks refinement, cheap interior, noisy on the motorway Read full review 2.5 out of 5 Citroën C3 (02-10) Peppy diesel engines, economical engines, good value Bouncy ride, cramped rear, cheap interior, unrefined Read full review 3.5 out of 5 Perodua Myvi (06 on) Cheap to buy and run, easy to drive, well built, available with an automatic gearbox Only one engine option, noisy at motorway speeds, near identical Daihatsu Sirion and Subaru Justy have longer warranties Read full review Find other hatchback cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
