Kia Sedona (06 on) - Review Review by Simon Harris on 27 June 2006 Last Updated: 05 January 2010 The Kia Sedona may not be the best looking or most stylish people carrier around, but it's great value with a spacious interior, rear sliding doors and a good level of standard equipment on all models. The considerable size means there's plenty of room for passengers in the back and seven seats come as standard (the rear ones can be removed completely). However it's not daunting to drive and a tight turning circle means tricky manoeuvres are pretty easy. Unsurprisingly, it's the strong diesel engine which is the most popular choice. Along with a smooth ride, even on rough roads, it means the Sedona is a comfortable and relaxed long distance family car. It was made even better in January 2010 when a seven-year warranty replaced the previous three year scheme. 3.5 out of 5 Other Kia reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 3.5 out of 5 Citroën Grand C4 Picasso (07 on) Neat styling, family-friendly interior, fold flat seats, refined ride, spacious cabin Jerky semi-automatic gearbox, some cheap-feel interior plastic, LX models don't get a radio Read full review 4 out of 5 Mazda 5 (05-10) Neat handling, stylish looks for a people carrier, rear sliding doors, well equipped More a six-seater rather than a seven, small boot with all seats in use Read full review 3 out of 5 Mitsubishi Grandis (04-10) Sleek looks, strong Volkswagen-sourced diesel, seven-seats, well equipped as standard Lacklustre performance, poor automatic gearbox, light steering Read full review Find other mpv cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
