Lamborghini Gallardo (03 on) - Review Review by Simon Harris on 17 December 2007 Last Updated: 25 February 2009 The Gallardo was the first Lamborghini to be fully developed under Audi’s ownership and it shows in the superb build quality. The cockpit is wonderfully finished and despite the obvious Audi switches, retains that important Italian flair. Four-wheel drive is standard on every version, including the very pretty Spider open-top, to make the V10-powered Gallardo supremely good to drive. With the coupe, the main choice is between standard six-speed manual gearbox and the E-Gear ’box that does without a clutch pedal but add shift paddles behind the steering wheel. In June 2008 the LP560-4 model arrived with even more power and a 0-62mph time of 3.7 seconds. 5 out of 5 Other Lamborghini reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 4.5 out of 5 Ferrari F430 Coupé (05-10) Outstanding performance, dramatic looks, compact size, sublime engine noise Limited practicality, high price and running costs, waiting list Read full review 5 out of 5 Porsche 911 Coupé (04 on) Outstanding performance and handling, classic styling, superbly build quality, immense brakes Expensive to run, not as exclusive as other high performance cars, meagre standard kit Read full review 4.5 out of 5 Aston Martin DBS (08 on) Usability, style, superb engine Cheaper DB9 almost as good Read full review Find other coupe cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
