The Range Rover has always had a reputation as the definitive luxury off-roader. Its capabilities in the rugged out-doors are beyond reproach although as a serious work horse, it's rather too plush - mud on the leather and Wilton just won't do. As a result, many serve their time as limousines with extra road presence thanks to their height. The wonders of depreciation make this do-it-all something of a bargain on the used market when you consider the price of a new one and it still looks and feels the part.
