Lexus GS (93-04) - Review

Review by Parkers on
A big techno-barge loaded with equipment which somehow fails to conjure the appeal of European rivals, despite being significantly better value. If you prefer comfort and equipment to golf club car park conformity then this is definitely worth a look but only if you really have to be different.

Performance

Only two to choose from. If you want the ultimate then choose the V8, otherwise it's the straight six. Both offer plenty of smooth power and a regular excuse to visit the petrol station. Great cruisers.

Handling

Doesn't offer the poise of a 5-Series, preferring instead to deliver a cosseting environment for wafting about. Plenty of grip and road holding but not much driver involvement.
