Lexus IS Sport Cross (01-05) - Review

Review by Parkers on
This is an 'I've got an active lifestyle' estate which means a fair bit of the potential practicality has been sacrificed to ensure that you look good when you load you mountain bike into the back; all models come with more standard kit than rivals offer.

Depreciation levels remain impressively low, but there's no diesel option and both six cylinder engines can be thirsty if you aren't careful.

Emissions summary

IS performs badly on the eco front. With an average of 249 g/km CO2 across the line-up, its emissions are quite high for a medium-sized estate. It's worth noting that the line-up does not feature any diesel models, which typically produce less carbon dioxide than petrol engines with similar power outputs. The range is quite thirsty, averaging 27 mpg.
