Lexus LS (90-00) - Review Review by Parkers on 18 May 2006 Lexus' goal to take on BMW, Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz, in terms of executive style and capability, are apparent in the LS400, which was rapidly accepted by luxury car buyers worldwide as a well-specced and competent rival to 7-Series and S-Class. It cost a lot less than its premium rivals new, but used values have closed in recent years. LS400 equals its rivals for comfort, spaciousness, power, refinement, equipment and reliability. 3 out of 5 Other Lexus reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 3 out of 5 Honda Legend Saloon (91-04) Generous equipment levels, very refined and quiet cruiser Poor economy, sloppy handling, lacks image, dull looks, no diesel option Read full review 4 out of 5 BMW 7-Series (94-02) Performance, refinement.
